For this type of rock, coarse crushing, medium fine crushing and shaping processes are generally used to process raw materials to finished products. This article deals with granite processing. The configuration of the production line is briefly introduced, and it is also suitable for materials that are difficult to break or have a higher cost, such as basalt, diabase, andesite.

1.Granite properties

Granite is a high-quality building stone. Its structure is uniform, the texture is hard, and the color is beautiful. The density is 2790 ~ 3070kg / m³, the compressive strength is 1000 ~ 3000kg / cm², the elastic modulus is 1.3 ~ 1.5x106kg / cm³, and the water absorption rate is 0.13. %, Shore hardness> HS70, specific gravity 2.6 ~ 2.75. For this type of hard rock, the crushing process is generally used for subsequent use.

At present, granite is mainly concentrated in eastern and northern China, and the total reserves account for about 75% of the country's total. Shandong Province ranks first (32%), while Beijing and Fujian rank second and third respectively.

2.Crushing process and required equipment

Depending on the desired end product, a crushing process can be divided into coarse crushing section, in broken section, the fine crushing section and frayed section. The general materials can be divided into three types: coarse crushing + medium crushing, coarse crushing + medium crushing + fine crushing or coarse crushing + medium crushing + fine crushing + shaping. According to the required product, shaping generally makes the obtained product better in shape.

The crushing products commonly used throughout the crushing process are as follows:

The jaw crusher is used in the first crushing process of the crushing line. It can crush large granular materials with a compressive strength of not more than 320MPa to 100mm ~ 300mm.

The impact crusher can generally handle ore or rock below 500mm and compressive strength up to 350MPa. The crushed material is cubic particles. The impact crusher is generally used in the second crushing process of the crushing line. It can also be used as the first crushing process for materials with smaller feed.

The cone crusher uses the principle of laminated crushing to form a protective layer of the material layer, which has the characteristics of reliable structure, high crushing efficiency, convenient adjustment, and economical use. The feed size is 13 ~ 369mm. Cone crushing is the same as counter-breaking. It is often used in the second crushing process of the crushing line. It can also be used as the first crushing process for materials with smaller feed. However, the feed particle size of cone crushing is generally smaller than the feed particle size of impact crushing.

The sand making machine is suitable for the crushing and shaping of soft, medium hard and very hard materials. It is generally used as the last step of the crushing sand production line. The feed size is 35 ~ 60mm.

In addition to the main crushing equipment, some auxiliary equipment such as vibrating screens, feeders and conveyors are needed to complete the configuration and work of this production line.

3.Granite crushing production line configuration

Due to the hard texture, the granite production line configuration generally needs to go through 3 stages, that is, the coarse crushing of the jaw crusher, the medium and fine crushing of the cone crusher and the sand making of the sand making machine.

Large pieces of granite material pass through the silo to the vibrating feeder for uniform feeding, and then enter the jaw crusher for the first crushing. The coarsely crushed material is screened by the vibrating screen and then conveyed by the belt conveyor to the cone crusher. The machine performs the second fine crushing. After medium and fine crushing, sieving is performed with a circular vibrating screen, and larger particles are returned to the cone crusher and broken again. The materials that meet the requirements enter the sand making machine for further crushing and shaping. If the materials need to be cleaned, they can be sent to the sand washing machine for cleaning. Finally, the materials that meet the requirements are sorted and packaged according to different size ranges.

Granite crushing sand production line configuration precautions

The equipment configuration of the granite crushing production line is mainly determined by the user's specifications for the stone, the output and the use of the stone. The configuration process is based on the production site. There are different models of the crushing equipment, and different models correspond to different production capacities, feed sizes and discharge sizes. Therefore, the crushing equipment with the corresponding production capacity should be selected according to the required stone specifications and the output and stone products, so as to obtain the most reasonable and economical production line.

When selecting hard rocks such as granite, two aspects need to be considered: first, the configuration of the production line equipment is selected according to the particle size of the finished product; second, the matching production equipment is selected according to the amount of production tasks. Guaranteeing the above two points can basically determine the production line procedures and ensure production efficiency.
